We went to my cousins wedding here and it s amazing, very very nice venue, the food s also delicious.
Had my wedding there a month ago and can honestly say I am quite disappointed in the overall service of the venue. Rooms were dusty and not cleaned properly. Tent s not set up correctly and collapsed on guests and no one s there to help. Many things were promised like the guys could play golf and then roses and champagne and a turned down room for the honeymoon suite yet no promises fulfilled etc. Not happy with the outcome yet you pay so much.
We cannot express enough how grateful we are to The Rose Barn for making our wedding day on Saturday, 7th September 2024, absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the venue itself took our breath away—every corner of the barn is beautifully designed, creating a perfect setting for our special day.
The food s absolutely exceptional. A huge thank you to Chef Gert for crafting a meal that our guests are still raving about. Every dish s packed with flavor and beautifully presented, and the whole dining experience exceeded our expectations.
The service s second to none. Bianca, the floor manager, s outstanding—her attention to detail, calm presence, and dedication to ensuring everything ran smoothly allowed us to relax and enjoy every moment. We truly felt looked after, and it s a comfort knowing that the staff s so experienced and attentive.
A special mention also goes to Gert and his wife, who made sure everything ran seamlessly. Their personal touch and support throughout the day made us feel like we were in the best hands.
The accommodations were equally impressive. The room we stayed in the night before the wedding s cozy, private, and the perfect space for us to unwind before the big day. The honeymoon suite, where we spent our wedding night, s nothing short of luxurious. The stunning decor, comfort, and peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect place to end our special day.
Overall, The Rose Barn provided us with an experience we’ll cherish forever. The beauty of the venue, coupled with the outstanding food, service, and accommodation, made our wedding day feel truly magical. Thank you to the entire team for making our dream wedding a reality!
We had a great experience, and the food s awesome. Not cheap, but good!
We started our wedding day getting ready in the beautiful rooms at The Rose Barn – they were neat, spacious, and offered stunning views, which made for a calm and special start to the day. Our morning ceremony took place outside in the garden, and it s absolutely perfect.
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed canapés on the lawn, where the venue even provided lawn games – a fun and thoughtful touch that everyone really enjoyed! This s followed by a relaxed reception brunch in the Fountain Room. The space looked incredible with very little added décor, as the venue’s natural charm truly speaks for itself.
The food, catered by Gert from Lelik maar Lekker, s a definite highlight – delicious and thoroughly enjoyed by all. The staff were friendly and the service throughout the day s excellent.
Bianca assisted with all the arrangements prior to the wedding and s an absolute pleasure to work with. She s professional, easy to communicate with, and ensured everything came together perfectly.
Even though we didn’t have a traditional wedding, The Rose Barn s flexible and supportive, helping us create a day that s truly “us.”
We’re so thankful to The Rose Barn team for making our wedding so special. Highly recommended!
With a beautiful venue come expectations. Unfortunately, these expectations were not met. Poor management led to awkward conversations and left a bitter taste with a memorable memory. A day that is supposed to be a fairy tale to all ended in a sour remembrance of the couple's special day.
Nice venue but the snacks that were put out for our function s y to little for the amount of people. The coffee ran out in the morning and s not replaced for teatime or lunch time. There s insufficient cool drinks as well
Stunningly beautiful venue. And who can forget the food! Most appetizing food I ever had at a wedding venue. I can highly recommend The Rose Barn for an unforgettable experience.
Do not book this venue if you have old or handicapped people to attend. Many stairs with no alternative entry.
